Malta, the smallest European Union member is an island of stability with a welcoming innovative mind-set and a proven record of economic success. The country is ideally located in the centre of the Mediterranean Sea and acts as a perfect bridge between Europe and other continents.

Malta has been a member of the EU since 2004 and of the Schengen Area since 2007.

Citizenship obtained under the Granting of Citizenship for Exceptional Services Regulations, gives the rights of full citizenship for life and can be passed on to future generations by descent. Maltese citizenship grants access to all investment opportunities in Malta and throughout the EU.
