The Citizenship by Investment Unit & the Cabinet of Antigua & Barbuda has agreed to extend the limited-time opportunity in relation to the donation option into the National Development Fund (NDF) which was due to close on the 31st October 2018. Such opportunity is now being extended by one year and will be available for prospective applicants until the 31st October 2019.
The National Development Fund was set up to fund government projects, public-private partnerships and charitable investments.
Clients under this very popular option can acquire the citizenship of Antigua & Barbuda by a donation of only US $100,000 and government processing fees of US $25,000. This option applies to a single applicant or family consisting of at least four members.
The donation option in the National Development Fund thus includes the following :
A. Single Applicant or a family of up to 4 applicants
• US $100,000 Contribution
• US $25,000 Processing Fees
B. Family of 5 applicants or more
• US $125,000 Contribution
• US $15,000 Processing Fees for each additional dependent
In addition to the above due diligence fees and passport fees will apply.
New Investment Option Established – UWI Education Fund
The Cabinet of Antigua & Barbuda has also launched a new investment option under the Citizenship by Investment programme. The new option is the University of the West Indies option and such fund will be used to finance the campus of this university. Such an option is in force with immediate effect.
The donation option in the UWI Education Fund thus includes the following:
1. Applicants will be required to make an investment of US$150,000 for a family of four (4) or more (i.e. the minimum number of persons per application is 4).
Participation in the option will entitle one member of the family to a one year, tuition only, scholarship at the University of the West Indies Antigua campus.
Government Processing fees:
• US$25,000 for a family of up to 4 persons
• US$15,000 for each additional dependent
In addition to the above due diligence fees and passport fees will apply.
