Citizens of Dominica can travel to China without a Visa
On Monday 22nd November 2021, Dominica signed an agreement with the People's Republic of China to allow visa-free travel between the two countries. The visa waiver agreement is effective immediately and Dominican passport holders can now travel to China without a visa.
On Monday 22nd November 2021, Dominica signed an agreement with the People's Republic Of China to allow visa-free travel between both countries. The visa waiver agreement takes immediate effect and anyone holding a passport from Dominica can visit China without the requirement of applying and obtaining a visa.
Benefits for Dominica Citizenship Investors
On the signing of this historic agreement Dominica's Prime Minister Roosevelt Skeritt held that such an agreement marks an important milestone in Dominica's friendship with China and that this agreement will deepen and strengthen diplomatic bilateral relations between the two countries. He thanked the People's Republic of China for its friendship, cooperation and trust over the years and he reaffirmed Dominica's commitment to the One China Policy. He also welcomed the new Ambassador of China to Dominica who presented his credentials on the same day.
With the signing of this agreement, investors who obtain Dominica citizenship by investment, will benefit from visa-free travel to China. This will now open doors of business, education and trading opportunities for the citizens of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Dominica-China Relations
China's ambassador to Dominica, Mr Lin Xianjiang conveyed his best wishes from Foreign Minister Wang Yi on this important milestone which also marks seventeen year of diplomatic relationships between the two countries. China had assisted Dominica during the Covid-19 pandemic by providing testing kits, vaccines, MRI machine and other medical supplies. China had also facilitated the state of the art Dominica-China Friendship Hospital which is one of the best medical facilities in the Caribbean region.
