Ashkan has written his thesis on Canada and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child – Child Rights in Action. He has also reserched the rights and legal status of Asylum Seekers in Malta and is active in this field by coordinating sport projects with non-governmental organisations. Prior to joining the firm, he advised clients on family relationships and ancillary matters including divorce, annulment, property settlements, alimony, child custody and visitation.
